In the Accelerator's Platform Team In a nutshell, a platform team is a team that creates the foundational layers and core building blocks of a companyʼs products. We are not providing direct value to the business, we do, however, support and help all other technical teams to focus on their productivity. The platform team is also here to find way for multiple teams to work on a cross project that can be reused by all. More concretely a platform can be at different levels of granularity CI configs and rules to be used by other teamsIaC, tooling to deploy and monitor resources in the CloudDevelopment environment, tools and shared librariesHelp and can define global system architecture/securityCore abstractions (data model, business modelling) API/SDKs ABOUT YOU Your key responsibilities will be Improve the Developer eXperienceLower the technical overhead for squads/podsPoC all things that could bring better standards - then deploy itSupport and help all teams when necessaryBuild various tools in a large pool of environment (cli, libraries, IaC, workflow)Work on everything you think can make the differenceCreate documentation/recommendation on how to build Cloud Native solutionAdvocate on the solutions built YOUR PROFILE Key Technical Requirements & Qualifications You don't need to check all points! If you fit only a few of them that is more than enough. No trick questions, just two discussions (2 x 1h15) around different topics with one main interviewer and someone shadowing One discussion around hard skills: Cloud, AWS, JavaScript/Node.js, conceptsOne discussion more focused on softs kills, process, working collaboratively Leadership interview Depending on the availabilities, this meeting could possibly be arranged during the onsite interview. If not, this will be a Zoom meeting. You will meet Niek, Head of Engineering for the Accelerator. This is an informal recap of the interview cycle, and we will dive into some uncertainties you or we have, as well as a place to ask more questions that you have in regards to the Accelerator, Sanofi or anything that we both want to discuss.
