Global Supply Chain Therapeutic Area Head Establishing Therapeutic Area SC strategy for a group of products/assets Ensuring the TA supply chain team has a clear set of strategic principles based on Product and Brand and its lifecycle, which is aligned with global supply chain ambition (e.g., network de-risking, sourcing strategies,… ) Designing and implementing supply chain strategies, including both product strategies as well as collaboration on network strategies Hold accountability of inventory levels and define relevant stock policies depending on product flows and process risk management Responsible for leading a system of product master planning and business practices to conduct and oversee operations planning for end-to-end supply chain Responsible for IBP horizon of demand and supply planning of available operations times for Therapeutic Area and each product value stream; manage all Life cycle Management (LCM) changes (new products, regulatory changes, post approval submissions, transfers) Acting as senior leader to drive execution of key product strategies across sites and functions Collaborate with global industrial planning to seek for best balance between industrial asset utilization/capacity planning/product supply Supporting commercial growth for new and established products Act as a primarily contact of Supply Chain to the Head of Global Franchise (Therapy Area) Supporting commercial operation with a focus on new launches and launch excellence as well as established products Represents BU supply chain in management committees, working in close partnership with the commercial franchise head and Industrial product leader Drive and oversee E2E Therapeutic Area SC performance (dashboard, trends, KPI’s) and continuous improvement initiatives within the planning and materials functions Sets product supply policies across the network within global guidance Work collaboratively within the value stream, with Global Franchise teams, Sourcing committees as well as other Global organizations when/where appropriate (SPC, GEM, Vaccine) Responsible for the SC partnership with the alliance partner to oversee a supply chain deliverables and support for SC communications and decision making as part of the joint governance processes Build/maintain a first in class team by leveraging people competencies, reinforcing capabilities, developing people. Identifying the required resources and expertise, implementing the appropriate team/departmental structures and establishing the required processes and communications to enable department(s) to effectively deliver on all commitments while building a culture of Safety and Quality and continuous improvement. Creation of pool of expertise for Therapeutic Area and E2E product lead activities with harmonized ways of working BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Four-Year Degree. Minimum 10 years relevant experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in Supply Chain / Manufacturing / Finance. Minimum 7 years of experience with an international organization. Minimum 10 years of proven and demonstrated ability to influence on a transversal basis across multiple stakeholders. Minimum 7 years of demonstrated leadership and critical thinking mindset for many complex business challenges that the franchise Supply and Demand Planning will require. Minimum of 15 years of progressive management experience. PREFERRED/ADVANCED QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in manufacturing, Business Administration or Supply Chain Solid knowledge of IBP process Experience with performance and capability in enabling and driving change Advanced knowledge of Demand Forecast and Supply Management Experience modelling scenarios with multiple variables incorporating identification of key performance drivers of biomanufacturing, risks, financials, and sensitivity analysis. Understanding of business requirements of GBU, in key markets Strong communication and influencing skills Experience in continuous improvement methodology application Experience of managing Financials and budgeting Experience in developing strategies and budgeting long-range planning Successful Leadership experience complex matrix environments across multiple teams and geographies Experience in coaching, motivating, and developing people.
