Description du poste

Le contenu du poste est libellé en anglais car il nécessite de nombreuses interactions avec nos filiales à l’international, l'anglais étant la langue de travail. Sanofi will establish a major active pharmaceutical ingredient company in Europe.The standalone company headquartered in France will combine Sanofi’s API commercial and development activities with six of its European API production sites, located in five countries (France, Italy, Germany, UK, Hungary) and sales in 80 countries. We are looking for a Media Relations & External Projects Manager to support the activities of this future new company (“EUROAPI”). JOB PURPOSE You will create EUROAPI media relations strategy to protect and enhance the company’s image and reputation while supporting the company’s business objectives and strategies in a proper, coordinated, and consistent mannerYou will lead the main external events linked to the financial market in close collaboration with the Top management and the Finance teamYou will act as Company spokesperson with agenda-setting You will drive creation of compelling content to inform audiences and inspire them to actYou will lead the organization of main events targeting financial market exposure in close collaboration with the finance team (General Assembly, Financial Results, and Investor Day)You will coordinate the creation of the Universal Registration Document (URD) working with all relevant functions within the company and with the support of an external providerYou will support leaders and experts in their external communications, in the specialized press (economic, finance, industry), the B2B press (chemistry, actors organizing events concerning APIs) and statements built with professional associations: messages, training if relevantYou will help the company’s country representatives in ensuring the effectiveness and consistency of their local media initiatives within the global communication plan, by working with the Corporate Affairs networkYou will ensure a regular media monitoring and dissemination of important business media coverage across the company RESPONSIBILITIES Partner across the communications and operational teams (sales, KAM, portfolio managers, CDMO) to bring the right mix of strategies and tactics to the right audiencesImplement appropriate media tactics and create effective communication channels (devices: press conferences, interviews, press releases, press kits)Research and write briefing materials; Compose and edit articles and press releases for the mediaCultivate and enhance collaborative working relationships within the press and publicity community: Proactive and reactive relationships and managing questions and complaintsAssist Top Management of the company in their one on one interview (preparation brief, media training and follow-up)Interest in new creative ways to reach out to reporters and B2B media: pushed stories, use content such as video, infographics, events with KOLsDetect public relations issues as they emerge and address them directlyProactively plan for and react if needed to crisis and issues management (+/- Manage external PR agencies in some countries) Others Managing general or specialized communication agencies for major events (GA, Financial results, URD)Supervise the adaptation and translation of materials produced at central level for the company's various internal and external audiences (media releases, leaflet, posters, etc.)Develop the event and public relations strategy, or even accompany the Top executives on their trips outside the company or represent the companyEstablish and pilot the annual budget of the Department PROFILE Experience & Knowledge Higher-level communication positions, typically require a bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, communications or related field, with an advanced degree preferredAt least 10 years’ experience in a senior management position within the Healthcare sector is also typically required. This should include experience working with media, public and/or government officials Skills A significant experience in communications (+10 year) in the Pharma and/or Chemistry environment with a proven track record in creating media relations strategy and tacticsGood knowledge of the regulatory framework for a listed company (AMF communication rules)Ability to translate key strategic business or financial issues into messaging that resonatesStellar written and verbal communications skills and ability to distil complex technology and business information into clear, concise messagingGood knowledge of the management of communication service providers (communication agencies, media)English & French: Writing and oral fluencyFamiliarity with social media, digital, video, visual, and collaboration sharing platformsMust be capable of maintaining confidentiality, with a high level of accuracy regarding informationProven ability to think ahead, engage proactively and take initiativeLeadership: ability to challenge, convince and lead multidisciplinary & cultural networksCollaborative, enthusiastic, and positive outlook The position requires some business trips across Europe
