Are you passionate about challenging the status quo and driving real tangible change? Fit4Future is a multiyear strategic transformation program designed to significantly improve performance across the Sanofi Manufacturing Platforms through a fast-paced implementation of the Sanofi Manufacturing System (SMS) and leveraging the power of digital tools. Our strategic plan set the bar very high: 500 M€ COGS savings by 2022, 100 digital products x sites roll out, bring most of our core network into top Decile benchmarks, measured in productivity & competitiveness. And how to achieve that? we want to enlarge the scope of SMS (new digital roles including data management, analytics; supplier management “monozukuri”) and to define a more multidimensional transformation model. MAIN MISSION Become the Ambassador and lead the implementation of a new digitally-enabled Performance culture and make the Change happen by leading a Change Team and engaging senior stakeholders, such as site leadership team, corporate leaders, experts of key corporate areas (Quality, Supply Chain, HR, etc.) ACCOUNTABILITIES Kick-off and lead the on-going waves of transformation at the assigned site / area, capture its associated impact fully leveraging all the functionalities which are provided by available digital toolsCollaborate with digital product owners to define and prioritize the backlog of functionalities to be implemented, to improve customer experience and maximize business impact TRANSFORMATION RESOURCES Secure adequate staffing of Change Leaders & Booster Leaders to support the site transformationDevelop the right capability within the transformation teamsEnsure robust review of the Performance of team membersProvide required training to team members and key stakeholders (e.g. site management) TRANSFORMATION METHODOLOGY Set the ambitionLead the local transformation team in developing the Site Diagnostic RoadmapEnsure alignment of the Site Roadmap with the overall business targets (P&L, KPIs) and site’s priorities, considering the 3-5 strategic plan horizonMake sure the right capabilities and digital enablers are in place Design & Plan the transformationSet the ambition high for the different parts of the transformation, unlocking the full potential of real-time big data analyticsDesign how the future will look like, fully leveraging the functionalities of the digital products and of real-time data availability, and anticipating risks and opportunitiesDevelop a detailed action plan of how to get thereMake sure the change story is credible and well-communicated to all levels of the organization ImplementImplement transformative initiatives to achieve demanding business targets (e.g. increase assent utilization, improve flow, step up with QC productivity, etc.)Monitor progress vs plan and impact on performance – timely react in case of gapsEnsure cascading of the site change storyRemove roadblocks and challenge the local transformation teams, to make sure the full potential is achievedMake sure key successes are celebrated at siteLead daily check-in/check-outs, weekly reports out, making sure they focus on the “so what?” STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT Manage relationship with site leadership team, Site management and senior stakeholders (from business units and support functions) including project team meetings and senior leader steering committeePartnering with site Lean & Performance Manager to drive the transformation and build the right capabilities to sustain it PROFILE Minimum of 10 years in Industrial Operations environment - 5 years’ experience in Biologics/PharmaBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Biology, Chemistry or other similar, relevant disciplinesExperienced in leading by influence in matrix driven project teams/organizationsCommand of change management issues and methodologies at senior leadership level would be a strong plusExperience leading transformation initiatives in an industrial environment would be a strong plus, including familiarity with common lean, project or quality methodologies (i.e. flow analysis, Six Sigma, etc.)Experience of leading a digital transformation and exposure to agile methodology is a plusAbility to lead change while achieving business goals and objectives, act for change - Challenge the status quo. Be persistentAbility to develop people, coach and give feedback, empower peopleAbility to learn and synthesize complex information quicklyAbility to navigate complex organizations Key additional remarks: The position requires travelling to Sanofi sites about 50% of the time, with some variability (up to 80% when launching a program, working from home or office when transitioning between projects)The position does not come with people reporting according to the org chart; nevertheless, during the execution of projects, resources are provided by the sites and by the global business units (team size depends on the scope) for the duration of the project
