JOB DESCRIPTION    ITS IA MES Program Manager      Job title: ITS IA Manufacturing Program Manager  Scope: IA all sites globally  Reporting to: ITS IA Manufacturing Business Area  Location : Lyon, Paris                  JOB SUMMARY  The ITS Program Manager is responsible for managing major IA Manufacturing programs and projects worldwide. Overall, He / She leads the program execution and is responsible for plan, budget management, staffing, risk management and associated mitigations. He / She also communicates on program’s progression and manages escalation process.  CONTEXT & CHALLENGES  Sanofi strategic direction is currently to standardize processes across sites, to embrace the digital transformation of Industrial Affairs perimeter, looking at the opportunity to simplify its current solution landscape and leverage advanced technologies to bring business value.   In that context, the MARS program aims at implementing the Computer-assisted batch review, enabled by the definition and roll out of a core Manufacturing Execution System (MES), with the ambition to deploy better, cheaper & faster.  The MARS (MES Accelerated Roadmap @ Sanofi) program will transform Sanofi plants, significantly improving compliance, cost, quality and cycle time performance.  From 2021 to 2022, Sanofi’s objective is to deploy 23 Production sites across 3 GBUs (multiple and different pharmaceutical processes), followed by a second wave to deploy the full scope starting 2023 (52 production sites, pending business case confirmation). The global deployment contributes to a BOI increase of more than 20 MEUR.    This represents a strategic opportunity for an IA Transformation to:   Design standardized end-to-end processes to generate business value for Industrial Affairs and deliver best-in-class solutions to our industrial sites, with a high focus on electronic batch record management (content, execution) & review by exception process;  Deliver innovative "state of the art" tools enabling performance for manufacturing processes across the industrial affair sites;  Allow new generation of deployment – more Agile & business centric  Maintain robust and highly available solutions to operate industrial processes efficiently    Challenges of the position:  Drive continuous alignment to business and ITS targets  Secure global template deployment and adherence  Secure delivery as well as business value creation  Coach program stakeholders to adopt an agile delivery model giving autonomy to the sites within the boundaries of the global template  Adapt to multicultural environments  Build quality relationships with all program stakeholders  Collaborate transversally on project activities  Mitigate risks  MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  In this context the main duties of the ITS IA Manufacturing Program Manager are:    Accountability to the business and ITS sponsors for program & project outcomes:   Delivery of program objectives (output and outcome) as defined by program sponsors  Management of decision makers (other than sponsors)  Propose global and major changes affecting the program  Delivery of program reporting and communication to program stakeholders  Leading the program/ project management structure  Planning management and continuous Planning optimization  Program/ project Budgeting and continuous budgetary management  Management of the program/ project performance and optimization of resources  Risks management and mitigation  Management of escalation and crises  Management of external stakeholders   Lead/ contribute to RFP process & partner(s) selection  Manage the global contract(s)  Management of the service catalogue (monitoring, creation, update)  Validation of external partner’s contracts amendments    REQUIREMENTS  Educational Background  Master’s degree in science related disciplines  University degree  Professional Experience  10+ year’s work experience including 5+ years managing people  Successful Program Management experience   Successful and significant Project Management experiences  Familiar with Industry 4.0 concepts and agile methodology and apply them to enable transformation  Demonstrated management experience in a Global and Matrix environment   Major Skills and Competencies  Broad knowledge of Industrial business area and mainly MES  Strong knowledge in major MES Technologies  Ability to structure, organize, and anticipate  Proactive  Rigorous  Advanced communication skills  Coordination skills and strong synthetic skills  Accountability, reliability and ability to work in transparency  Ability to challenge, to be open minded and to listen actively  Communication and interaction skills, including tact and diplomacy to exchange and escalade information   Ability to perform independently while being a good team player and in a collaborative environment      ACKNOWLEDGEMENT    My Manager has explained, and I understand my responsibilities as outlined in this document:    Employee: Manager:      _____________________________ ______________________________  Signature Signature    _____________________________ ______________________________  Print name Print name     _____________________________ ______________________________  Date Date
