Description du poste

Le contenu du poste est libellé en anglais car il nécessite de nombreuses interactions avec nos filiales à l’international, l'anglais étant la langue de travail. This role is part of a significant project that is now in progress. Sanofi plans to establish a major active pharmaceutical ingredient company in Europe. The standalone company headquartered in France would combine Sanofi’s API commercial and development activities with six of its European API production sites, located in five countries (France, Italy, Germany, UK, Hungary) and sales in 80 countries. We are looking for a Strategic Partnership & Development CDMO to support the activities of this future new company (“PLUTON”).  This recruitment is in a project mode and is subject to social and legal process applicable to this new organization. Objectives ​Through a strategic vision and market understanding, the PPL develops and manages a product portfolio contributing to the growth of business and profits for SANOFI Active Ingredient Solutions (SAIS) This newly created role is an opportunity through teamwork with all SAIS+ stakeholders to drive strategy on a product line based on existing products as well as through line extension He/she establishes product expertise (Products, Price, Promotion and Placement/Positioning) driven by customers insights and competitor benchmark Key and direct interfaces with Business Operations and Support, Region Sales team, KAM, Industrial Plants, Supply Chain, QA/RA and Procurement, to coordinate product development related activities This position will also actively lead all efforts related to the Pricing strategy (with cost management such as CRI and COGS optimization)   Missions & Responsibilities Reporting to the Head of Strategy and M&A, the Project Portfolio Leader will be in charge of the following activities. In order to achieve improved performance, leads a cross-functional project team: Coordinate the activities between Business Operations and Support, Quality, Regulatory, Supply, Finance, Development, Production and Sales using a common and shared process With IO: Participate in the design of the Industrial strategy in relation with market evolution by bringing regularly the market vision to the site With Supply Chain: Participate in Demand review and S&OP to give market visibility to Supply Chain in order to build an appropriate production schedule matching market demand and stock objectives. When necessary, establish production priorities and product allocation to Regions/customers with Supply Chain and Industrial sites taking into account commercial performance objectives and customers strategy; communicate this allocation Plan to Regions with the rational Define Pricing policy per product according to market environment (competition landscape and SAIS positioning), industrial performance plan and financial objectives in term of Sales and Margin Supply agreements negotiation: Validate the fallback positions proposed by the region especially on pricing and industrial related clauses. Support the negotiation strategy settings   Project owner for line extension Work out strategies for launching and marketing new API through proposal of line extension  Elaborate the Business cases for new API in close collaboration with the sales representatives (Prices, Investments, margins, volume, ROM and ROI) Sponsor and or leader of the realization of the line extension projects   Give strategic orientation to the LRP Thanks to market monitoring performed by the Business Operations and Support team, get a full understanding of the market (players, competitors, environment) and its evolution to identify new market opportunities, anticipate and address market needs Define the best differentiation plan and positioning for the Product portfolio thanks to the knowledge/monitoring of the competition performed by Business Operations and Support team Participate to the Development of marketing messages for Salespeople and for Communication global content Check budget and LRP proposed by the regions including Risk and Opportunities management making sure it is consistent with the marketing and industrial strategy Contribute to mid and long-term plan to improve customers feedbacks  Contribute to Region and KAM business development, cross selling and prospect for new customers Check Prospection plan to make sure it is aligned with Industrial and marketing strategy  Participate in Global customer segmentation for the product range  Contribute to RA LRP and follow up on its deployment as well as ongoing activities  Performance Measure: follow turnover of its portfolio, profitability and individual product performances by product on a regular basis  Profile & Experience 7-10 years of relevant professional experience, ideally with extended periods in the context of manufacturing, Marketing or Sales Strong background in Chemicals operations with products and/or site expertise Advanced and robust skills in financial modeling, valuation, and accounting Good project management skills  Strong presence and ability to act as a project leader in a cross-functional team  Very good verbal and written communication skills  Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively and to engage teams   Strong story lining competence, e.g. to build solid product line strategies Excellent problem-solving skills  Self-motivator with ability to work independently   Analysis skills English proficiency
