About the Sanofi Business Unit : The Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) department of Sanofi based in France focuses its laboratory activities on the support of biotherapeutics. About the Opportunity : The DMPK / Bioanalysis function is seeking a laboratory manager with significant experience in bioanalysis of multiple biologics constructs in pharmacokinetic samples by Liquid-Chromatography Mass Spectrometry. About growing with us : In this role you will have the following responsibilities : You 'll be a teamleader of two to three scientistsYou'll have to propose and develop bioanalysis methods by liquid chromatography - Triple quadrupole or high resolution mass spectrometry, for the quantification across a broad range of modalities encompassing both small molecules and biotherapeutics in biological samples of pharmacokinetic, pharmacology and toxicology studiesYou'll have to propose, develop and capture methods by immuno-affinity, to improve the specificity and the sensitivity of the methods according to the types of biological and preclinical species usedYou'll have to monitor outsourced studies dedicated to small moleculesYou'll have to communicate results within the DMPK department, oral presentations at international conferences such as EBF, ASMS, and publicationsYou'll Interact with the other lab leaders of Bioanalysis in order to manage the overall Bioanalysis workload and foster collaborative spirit Qualifications/ Education & Work experience : Ph.D. in Mass Spectrometry or analytical techniques related to protein bioanalysis with at least 5 years of experience in the industrial pharmaceutical fieldExpertise in High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (time of flight, orbitrap)Knowledge of mass spectra deconvolution tools in the protein fieldSkills in immuno-extraction techniques applicable to liquid (plasma, serum) and tissue samplesKnowledge of proteomics tools: queries on protein databases and protein sequence handlingExperience as an interdisciplinary project team member is a plusStrong written, presentation and verbal communication skills are essential. Ability to present and write scientific documents in English: study reports, posters, publications in scientific newspapersScientific curiosity, appetite for teamwork and problem-solving skills in bioanalysisDemonstrated strong leadership and team spirit
